Steiner Sports, the official collectibles company of the New York Yankees and Syracuse Orange (among others), was looking for ways to use social media to reach their target of gift-buying women. We proposed "The Game Face" campaign – teaching women how to avoid the fake smile that accompanies a bad gift.
We were tasked with trying to acquaint young Syracuse students with the Downtown Syracuse. We planned and executed a photo scavenger hunt during the first weekend of the fall semester. Special thanks to our partners: the Connective Corridor, Syracuse OnCenter, and the Roji Tea House, among other local businesses, for making our event a success.
After the University's much ballyhooed creation of an official Mayfest celebration in Spring 2010, the school approached us looking for help branding the event. We created the logo and advertising to prepare the campus community for the first official Mayfest celebration.
Student entrepreneur Ryan Dickerson invented the Rylaxer, the bed transforming pillow, and wanted to spread the word. We've conducted photo shoots for his website, developed posters to promote the product, and helped to conduct the "messiest room" competition on the Syracuse Campus.
Feel Your Boobies came to us looking to promote their viral video competition, promoting breast cancer awareness, in Fall 2010. We produced and distributed a few risqué fliers and found an excuse to take our clothes off on the quad. We ended up generating more than a half-dozen Syracuse student entries into the competition, as well as some interesting press.
We teamed up with friends at Ogilvy & Mather to raise awareness for Hopenhagen, the 2009 global climate change summit. We executed a flash mob, when members of our agency stripped down to their bathing suits and "tanned" on the quad…in the middle of November.
